Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated 3.5 T Van Driver to join our operations team in Gillette, Wyoming. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our logistics and distribution efforts, ensuring that our materials and equipment are delivered promptly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 3.5-ton van for safe transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to various locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel and management to understand delivery schedules and requirements.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety and efficiency on the road.
- Assist in loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, including routine maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving 3.5 T vans or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with local and regional routes in Wyoming.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual handling tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices.
