Job Title: AWS Cloud Freelance Specialist
Overview
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated AWS Cloud Freelance Specialist who will be responsible for implementing and managing our cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cloud technologies, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and have a keen interest in contributing to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure tailored to Larson Manufacturing’s needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud-based optimization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop scripts for automation using AWS tools, enhancing productivity and improving overall workflow.
- Maintain system security and compliance standards in accordance with industry regulations.
- Document processes, configurations, and architectural designs to enhance team knowledge.
- Proactively analyze existing cloud implementations and suggest improvements or enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security measures, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and VPC architecture.
- Ability to write concise and efficient scripts in at least one programming language (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is a plus.
