Position Overview
As a Job Operator PC, you will be responsible for operating and managing PC-controlled equipment in our manufacturing facility. This role requires a combination of technical skills and attention to detail ensuring operational efficiency and product quality. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work closely with the production team to achieve performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate PC-controlled machinery in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production processes, ensuring equipment functions properly and product specifications are met.
- Identify and troubleshoot any machinery or process issues, reporting and collaborating with maintenance staff as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs and records.
- Ensure safety standards are met, reporting any hazards to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Participate in regular training and development workshops to enhance skills and knowledge of equipment and processes.
- Assist in inventory management and raw material handling as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience operating PC-controlled machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
