Position Overview
The Automotive Loan Specialist plays a critical role in our auto zone jobs, connecting with our members to assist them in finding the right auto financing solutions. This position requires a blend of customer service excellence, automotive knowledge, and financial acumen. As an Automotive Loan Specialist, you will work closely with our members to guide them through the loan application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with members to understand their automotive loan needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Process auto loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
- Educate members on loan products, interest rates, and terms to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure timely processing and approval of applications.
- Maintain detailed records of member interactions and follow-up as necessary to enhance member satisfaction.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive financing, banking, or a related customer service role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of auto loans, credit underwriting, and related financial products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse members.

- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
