Job Summary
As a Condo Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential condominiums while ensuring compliance with governing documents, budgets, and maintenance standards. You will work closely with homeowners, vendors, and board members to resolve problems, improve community relations, and uphold the overall value of the properties we manage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned condominiums, including grounds maintenance, repairs, and vendor relations.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and board members to address concerns and provide updates on community matters.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist in the development of community policies and procedures in accordance with governing documents.
- Organize and attend board meetings, providing reports and recommendations to ensure effective governance.
- Act as a liaison between the board of directors, homeowners, and service providers to promote harmony within the community.
- Maintain knowledge of local and state laws relevant to property management and landlord-tenant relationships.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this condo management job will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of condominium governance, property management best practices, and applicable laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification from Community Association Institute (CAI) or similar organization is a plus.
