Job Overview
The Evening Data Entry Specialist position is crucial for the operational excellence of our stores. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, maintaining, and managing data related to inventory, sales, and customer interactions. This part-time position is ideal for anyone seeking flexible evening hours while contributing towards the success of a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and daily transactions using our database system.
- Monitor data entry accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in compiling reports on sales trends, inventory statistics, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure data consistency and report generation.
- Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations within the evening shift.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and uphold our values of health and customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in data management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Proficient in computer applications and software systems, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with retail and grocery operations is preferred but not required.
Work Schedule
This job is designated as a part-time evening role, typically between 5 PM and 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekends as needed. This schedule allows you the opportunity to pursue other commitments during the day while supporting our evening operations.
