Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Director of Student Engagement to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing student involvement and satisfaction at GGC. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and assess programs and initiatives that enhance student engagement and involvement on campus.
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff, facilitating communication and collaboration across various campus groups.
- Coordinate new student orientation programs and retention initiatives aimed at increasing student satisfaction and success.
- Oversee student organizations, advising leaders, and providing guidance on best practices for leadership development.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions focused on building leadership skills and enhancing student experiences.
- Analyze trends in student engagement and develop strategic plans to address the diverse needs of the student population.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in student affairs, education, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in student engagement, student affairs, or related fields, preferably in a higher education environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups.
- Proficient in data analysis and assessment, with a proven track record of using information to develop initiatives.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all areas of work.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required based on program schedule.
